Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is only as good as the therapist who work with you, and at Ahwatukee Sports and Spine, our therapists are second to none. All therapists have advanced training in spinal mobilization and rehabilitation, as well as sports injuries. Our facilities are state of the art, including our in-ground pool.

Scott Moynahan, PT

Scott is our Physical Therapy Director. He received his PT degree from the University of Hartford. He has outpatient experience primarily in orthopedic, post surgical, spine rehabilitation, and using joint mobilization techniques. He also has experience as the Rehab Director in a sub-acute facility, in home health care, skilled nursing and acute care. His Continuing education courses have been an emphasis for Scott since finishing his degree.

Mike Drew, PT

Mike DrewMike was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Arizona State University in 1998 and his Master of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Delaware in 2003. Mike is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and has worked primarily in outpatient/orthopedic settings specializing in spine, sports, and post-surgical rehab. His professional interests include manual therapy, exercise and sports medicine. In his spare time, Mike enjoys working on his house, exercising, and spending time with his family.

Molly Calanan, PT

MollyMollie received her Physical Therapy degree from Daemen College in Buffalo, New York 1996. She has spent the majority of her time in outpatient/sport medicine settings, specializing in post surgical, spine rehabilitation, and manual therapies. Her Continuing Education Courses have emphasis on manual techniques, core stability utilizing body building, yoga and pilates experience. Her hobbies include hiking, skiing, traveling and exercising.

Mary Strike, PT

MaryMary was trained in the UK at the Royal London Hospital School of Physiotherapy, receiving her degree in 1979.  She has worked in several settings including pediatrics, geriatrics, aquatics, and outpatient orthopedics.  She has been practicing in Arizona since 2005.
