V. Wesley Crisp, DO

Wes Crisp, D.O., M.S., FAAPMR, is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is Board Certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Crisp specializes in treating musculoskeletal pain and injuries.
After completing a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida, he owned a successful fitness training company for several years. During this time, he found that he enjoyed the challenge of working with injured athletes as much as healthy ones. He decided to attend medical school and subsequently graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He finished a rotating internship in Arizona, then completed residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After residency he spent an additional year in fellowship training, learning interventional techniques for musculoskeletal and spine related pain.
Dr. Crisp enjoys treating patients with back and neck pain, sports injuries, arthritis, pain after back or neck surgeries, and work related injuries. He utilizes imaging including MRIs, CTs, x-rays, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He is highly trained in performing procedures such as joint injections, fluoroscopically guided spine injections including epidural steroid injection, facet joint injection, radiofrequency ablation, discography, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation).
Outside of the office, Dr. Crisp spends most of his time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys many athletic activities, likes traveling and motorsports of all kinds.
